There’s something truly magical about being on the water under a full moon. The quiet lap of the waves, the silver light dancing across Bellingham Bay—this is not your typical evening out.

Full Moon Paddle is a community-powered event, co-created by Wild Whatcom, Community Boating Center + the folks who show up. Each outing is unique, shaped by the people, the water, and the moon.

What to Expect

🌝 Awe and Intention
Expect moments of stillness, reflection, and connection—both with nature and one another.

🛶 Guided Paddle
Led by our experienced CBC staff, you'll enjoy a calm, moonlit paddle with opportunities to learn about local wildlife, ecology, and the tides.

🧡 Circle of Community
Before we launch and after we return, we gather for conversation, laughter, and optional sharing.

Registration & Details

• Registration is required

• Suggested donation: $15–$30 per person. Pay what you can. No one is turned away for lack of funds.

• All gear is provided: kayak, paddle, PFD, and lights.

• Please wear water-friendly, weather-appropriate layers, and bring a water bottle.
